- The growth of the Database State in which multiple databases could be linked to form the National Identity Register linked to ID cards - The Government is going ahead with plans to put all our phone calls and emails onto a database - although this proposal in the Communications Data Bill appears to have been dropped they are still sneeking them through under the heading of the Interception Modernisation Programme (IMP), which will cost us £12billion at latest estimates - over twice the cost of the ID Cards programme

UPDATE

Judicial Review of Trident - The Nuclear Information Service have now submitted an Appeal Skeleton Argument against the government's decision to replace Trident and its failure to carry out a promised consultation. The MoD now have an opportunity to answer their points, then a High Court judge looks at both papers to assess the chances of a successful Appeal.
